ERIC (with figure and table searching) and MEDLINE (with an extended backfile) are now available to all VIVA members (public, private nonprofit and the Library of Virginia)

What’s New?
ERIC: Statewide access, and figure and table searching powered by ProQuest Deep Indexing.
MEDLINE: An extended backfile dating back to 1948, and figure and table searching powered by ProQuest Deep Indexing.

The sunset date for both the legacy Books In Print and Global Books in Print sites is December 31, 2011. After Dec 31, 2011, legacy Books In Print and Global Books in Print sites will redirect to the new Books in Print.

• Set up your Hooks To Holdings The legacy Books In Print will not automatically transfer to this new interface. While you still have access to the legacy version of Books In Print, you will need to retrieve your Hooks To Holdings set up information. You can do this either by taking a snapshot or printing a screen shot of your information and use it for reference while setting up your Hooks to Holdings. Please use the link to the Hooks To Holdings document to complete this process. If you have trouble setting up your Hooks To Holdings account in the new Books In Print, feel free to contact technical services for additional help.
