Safari Tech Books Available Now

Access to the ProQuest Safari Tech Books Online Complete is now available for the public colleges and universities. The old URLs for previous subscribers may work right now, but will be deactivated very soon. Use http://proquest.safaribooksonline.com/?uicode=viva Information on getting the MARC records has been sent to the technical issue contacts at each school (and Gene for the VCCS). Four of the private colleges will participate in this license. See Safari Tech Book product description for more information.

VIVA EBSCO Summer Training

EBSCO Awarded Contract 6/3/08

VIVA has awarded the contract for the full-text multidisciplinary database to EBSCO. Access is available now. Webinars are available for training VIVA librarians in June and 5 regional training sessions will be held in July. Details and FAQ may be found on the VIVA VENDOR HELP page for EBSCOhost - Complete.
