RFP Survey Posted

The RFP Evaluation Survey is now posted on the RFP web page. The RFP Committee is very interested in receiving your feedback and hearing any and all comments you may have on the 3 finalists for the full text multidisciplinary periodical database. Please evaluate the finalists and submit the short survey no later than March 18, 2008. Thank you!

VIVA RFP Trials

The VIVA RFP Committee has determined that EBSCO, GALE Cengage Learning, and ProQuest are the finalists for the RFP for Multidisciplinary Full Text Periodical Database. In addition, Mergent’s proposal is being considered for their business databases. VIVA community participation is actively encouraged. Please see the RFP web page to get links for the trials, registration information for the March 11 Demo Day at the University of Richmond, and more.

New Mileage Rate for Personal Rate

The Commonwealth of Virginia has increased the Personal Rate for mileage from $0.485/mile to $0.505/mile, effective January 8, 2008. The Fleet Rate ($0.246/mile) has not changed. For more details on Travel, please see the VIVA Travel Reimbursement website. Also, note that the Commonwealth of Virginia announced new rates for lodging and per diem effective October 1, 2007.
