"The destruction of the roller coaster was quite a sight. Although local rumor said that the whole thing was unstable, the movie company was unable to bring it down with their first attempt -- an explosion. They had to attach heavy equipment to it at pull it apart, and that was still no easy task. I grew up in Ocean View, you see. Our family business, Harrison's Fishing Pier, was just a few blocks away."
