New Personal Mileage Rate, effective 1/1/13

Effective January 1, 2013, the Personal Vehicle Usage Mileage Reimbursement Rate increased one cent to $.565/mile in conjunction with an IRS rate change. The Personal Mileage Rate is generally reimbursable when a personal vehicle is used for business travel of less than 100 miles per day. The Fleet Rate of $.246/mile has not changed. Enhancements to VIVA Travel Forms

VIVA travelers now have a choice; choose the “Mileage Travel Reimbursement Form” if you want to be reimbursed for a one-day trip or choose the “Travel Expense Reimbursement Form” to be reimbursed for an overnight trip. Both forms are interactive fillable forms so they can be filled out online. Just be sure to print and mail us the signed copy along with any required receipts. The Commonwealth of Virginia has announced new rates for lodging and per diem effective October 1, 2011.

The Commonwealth of Virginia has increased the Personal Rate for mileage from $0.485/mile to $0.505/mile, effective January 8, 2008. The Fleet Rate ($0.246/mile) has not changed.
