Preservation Week Exhibit: Reston@50

Come celebrate Preservation Week!

Documents and historical objects can last for generations if properly preserved. Reston was the first planned community in Virginia, and its rich and fascinating history is preserved in the Libraries’ Special Collections & Archives (SC&A). These collections offer a behind-the-scenes look at Reston from its beginning and into the future. To observe Preservation Week, SC&A and the Preservation Department have created an exhibit on Reston@50, which explores the history of Reston and the basics of preserving Mason’s Reston collections. Reston@50 is on display in Fenwick Library, Floor 2, Wings A & C. An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 3:00-5:00pm.
