On Thursday, April 12, George Mason University Libraries is partnering with the University of Virginia Library’s Scientific Data Consulting Group in hosting Data Management Day.
Data Management Day is a means to discuss research data issues and institutional initiatives aimed at addressing these issues. The day’s events will increase awareness of data management issues and serve as a forum to discuss solutions and best practices for data management across the entire research life cycle.
To foster broader information sharing and collaboration among institutions, George Mason University Libraries fully supports Data Management Day. One of the first presenters is Wendy Mann, George Mason University Libraries’ Head of Data Services. George Mason University students, faculty and staff can participate via a video teleconferencing broadcast.
