Library-Writing Center — check it out!

October 1st, 2009

writing“Which databases do I need for my paper?”  “Can you help me find a scholarly journal?” “Why did you split this infinitive?”  Answers to these questions – and more – will be offered through the newly expanded Library-Writing Center service.

At a Library-Writing Center, Mason writing tutors provide one–on-one scheduled help, and library reference staff are available to provide research advice for students.  Fall Semester (October 6 -December 18) hours are:

  • Fenwick Library, Tuesdays, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
  • Johnson Center Library, Wednesdays, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Students can make appointments with a writing tutor at writingcenter.gmu.edu and select Fenwick Library or Johnson Center Library as location.  Students are also welcome to drop into a Library-Writing Center for assistance.

For more information about library services and resources well as the Mason Writing Center, visit library.gmu.edu and writingcenter.gmu.edu.
