“Primary Source Research: An Introduction for Student Scholars” is a new exhibit designed to introduce students and faculty to the archival resources housed in the University Libraries’ Special Collections & Archives. Based on George Mason University history, the exhibit was researched, designed and mounted by Leah Richardson, SC&A Research Services Coordinator, and Jason Byrd, History & Political Science Liaison Librarian. A reception will be held in Fenwick Library, Floor 2, Wing C on Wednesday, March 21, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm; the Mason Community is welcome to attend.
Mason Libraries’ catalog will be unavailable on March 14 and 15, 2012 as we upgrade the underlying system software. During that time, you may use our “discovery” catalog to identify items in our collection — but we will be unable to provide the current status of items (e.g., checked-out or on-the-shelf) until our upgrade is completed. Other systems, including library.gmu.edu, will not be interrupted.
