Inauguration Day may delay book deliveries

j0400472_thumbDue to the planned road closings in the Washington area and traffic congestion associated with Inauguration Day, the couriers and commercial delivery services that carry books for the Libraries’ Consortium Loan Service, Intercampus Lending Service, and Interlibrary Loan Service will not be operating normally on Monday, January 19 and Tuesday, January 20. This will cause slight delays receiving in requested books. Courier services should be back in regular service on Wednesday, January 21.  Staff will process items as quickly as possible when they arrive at the Library.
